People love to look good, it’s normal. Smiling can increase your confidence and even boost your immune system. According to USA Today, 47% of people notice a persons smile first.

Many of our patients have admitted that wearing dentures affected their career and social networking as they avoided social situations or even simply refused to smile. Covering your mouth with your hand when you speak can get old pretty quickly.

We’ve discovered that people don’t like to talk about their dentures. There is a social stigma around dentures. While people may talk about their new veneers or other dental work, people don’t usually talk about their dentures.

A recent study showed that 63% of denture patients keep their dentures a secret from their loved ones; including family and friends. 53% of respondents stated that they first started wearing dentures before the age of 44.

Dentures are NOT just for seniors. We’ve treated patients as young as 11 years old. Dentures, partial dentures, or flipper dentures are affordable solutions for replacing missing teeth. They are a great solution for restoring missing teeth due to sports injuries, birth defects (like cleft palates), tumors or other accidents.

It has been estimated that 1 in 8 people wear dentures. Think about that next time you’re walking down the street. 1 in every 8 people you walk by is currently wearing a denture. Can you tell which ones are wearing dentures?

Dentures will reduce the risk of losing neighbouring teeth by preventing the remaining teeth from shifting and becoming loose. Dentures save you money.
